Non-Client Submission: Complimentary Ultrasound & Echocardiogram Program
Limited-Time Opportunity for Eligible Dogs
South Shore Animal Services is expanding our in-house diagnostic imaging services, and for a limited time, we are offering complimentary abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms to qualifying canine patients.
Is Your Dog Eligible?
Dogs participating in this program must:
Be 2–4 years of age
Be in good overall health with no known health conditions
Have a valid rabies certificate and up to date on vaccinations
Have medical and vaccination records available for review before scheduling
What Is Included?
Eligible dogs may receive:
Abdominal Ultrasound or Echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound)
Light sedation for the imaging procedure
Complimentary nail trim and ear cleaning
For abdominal imaging, please note that a portion of your dog's abdomen will need to be shaved to obtain clear ultrasound images.
Services included in this staff training opportunity are valued at up to $650 and are provided at no charge.
Why Are We Offering This?
Our veterinary team is participating in advanced ultrasound and echocardiogram training as we expand these diagnostic services at South Shore Animal Services. Healthy canine volunteers allow our team to gain additional hands-on experience while working under established training protocols.
Limited Appointments Available
This complimentary program is available for a limited time only, and appointments are limited.
Dogs do not need to be current South Shore Animal Services patients to be considered; however, our Form, medical records, vaccination history, and proof of current Rabies vaccination must be submitted and reviewed before an appointment can be scheduled.
Interested in having your dog participate?
Please contact South Shore Animal Services at 781-837-1323 to learn more and see if your dog qualifies.
Participation is subject to eligibility, medical-record review, appointment availability, and approval by our veterinary team. This program is intended for healthy canine volunteers and is not a substitute for diagnostic imaging recommended for an existing medical condition.
